My art practice has always involved public engagement. Sometimes creative sessions have led to art work for exhibitions. Some of these projects are featured elsewhere on my website too.
Short sessions with Norfolk Young Carers depicting their hopes and fears for Norwich Good Economy led to animations and stills for events at Norwich Forum in 2022.
Vegetable and garden scenes were made at our Edible East ten day extravaganza fillling the whole of the Forum for the ten days of Norfolk Heritage Open Days with the theme of 'Edible England', funded by Arts Council England.
Art of the Gut was my Arts Council Grant funded residency at the Quadram Institute on Norwich Research Park in 2019. The work explored gut microbes, diet and health and sessions were run with scientists and Science Art and Writing. I employed local artists Rach Anstey Sanders,Chris Jackson and drama facilitator Hilary Thompson to collaborate with me.
