I was artist in residence at Chateau de Sacy, near Paris, France. Inspired by the old farm scales, by my increasing weight during pregnancy and the practice tightrope in the barn, a theme began to emerge. While I was away bombings took place on public transport in my home town of London. The French newspaper headlines translated as London being 'overbalanced'.
